Long Description | The “Hand of Hope” is an sEMG driven therapeutic device for hand that can allow patients to re-educate their weakened hand. It works by attaching a non-invasive sensor to the muscles and triggers the robotic hand to guide the patients fingers when the sensors detect the patient's intention to move the hand. The “hand of hope” can help stroke patients regain control of their hand and should be considered for any patient suffering from brain injury or similar debilitating disorder. | |
